Rebecca L. GibsoN
Rebecca grew up in Charleston, South Carolina and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley with high distinction. She is proficient in Japanese and spent a semester abroad at Doshisha University in Kyoto. Rebecca earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review. After graduation, Rebecca initially practiced federal workers’ compensation law before pivoting to civil litigation and False Claims Act whistleblower litigation.
Rebecca’s cases have been covered in the New York Times and Daily Mail, among other sources. She has authored and co-authored articles published in the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law, American Bar Association Health Law Section newsletter, and Federal Lawyer magazine. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys baking, watching sumo wrestling and baseball, and studying Asian languages.
